CONNECT WITH YOUR DOG
Has your dog been labelled “Aggressive”?
Your dog’s behaviour may be interpreted as “aggressive” when in actual fact your dog is just communicating inappropriately. When not understood, that perceived aggression can create fear in you and everyone around you. Once you understand that your dog’s behaviour is actually not aggression and learn to teach your dog appropriate communication, you will lose all fear and be the strong, courageous, and confident mother they need (even if you’re a guy).
what does “being your dog’s mother” mean?
The underlying psychological basis for all perceived aggressive behaviour in dogs is because they don’t trust, respect, and feel safe with their owner. All dogs need a calm, assertive, and affectionate mother (dogs aren’t paternal). When you bring home a puppy or dog, you assume this responsibility. You can learn to build the trust, respect, and safety your dog needs by communicating with them and teaching them as their mother would, through the eyes, the projection of energy, sound and touch.

Services

Consultation
I do in-home consultations, where I teach you how to properly communicate with your dog using its language. I also teach you how to properly teach and correct your dog the way its mother did, the way it instinctively understands. We will work with your dog both inside and outside of your home, including on leash. I also bring members of my pack so we have other dogs to work with and can bring specific dogs for your situation.

rehabilitation

boarding
Board your dog with us in a safe and secure facility while you’re away. Whether you have to leave them behind for travel, emergencies, or illness, we’ll ensure they’re well taken care of. You can rest easy knowing they’ll receive the attention they need to feel trusted and respected.

How you can help
Ken has saved the lives of over 2,000 misunderstood dogs over the last 6 years.
The bad news is that many people are left with no choice but to euthanize their misunderstood reactive or "aggressive" dog. In addition, these people are destroyed by the loss of their dog and suffer immense guilt.
The good news? You can help save these dogs lives! We're committed to saving misunderstood dogs so that all puppies have a chance at life, peace, happiness and love.
The great news is that there are so many different ways you can help. Volunteer with us, Donate to the future Vancouver Island Dog Psychology Center, or Adopt a dog!
Get Started
Even when your dog has bitten you, someone else, or another dog, they are your dog and you know you have to protect them. It makes it very hard when the ‘dog experts’ and people around you are telling you to destroy them. You don’t need to continue to live with the stress, anxiety, and negative energy this is causing you. Contact us today for a consultation and we’ll help you restore peace in your home.

Fostering Opportunities
We often have opportunities available for you to take a dog into your home and care for them until we find a family to adopt them to. This not only helps the fostered dog, it also helps alleviate our facilities to place new dogs at risk.
