CONNECT WITH YOUR DOG
Has your dog been labelled “Aggressive”?
Your dog’s behaviour may be interpreted as “aggressive” when in actual fact your dog is just communicating inappropriately. When not understood, that perceived aggression can create fear in you and everyone around you. Once you understand that your dog’s behaviour is actually not aggression and learn to teach your dog appropriate communication, you will lose all fear and be the strong, courageous, and confident mother they need (even if you’re a guy).
what does “being your dog’s mother” mean?
The underlying psychological basis for all perceived aggressive behaviour in dogs is because they don’t trust, respect, and feel safe with their owner. All dogs need a calm, assertive, and affectionate mother (dogs aren’t paternal). When you bring home a puppy or dog, you assume this responsibility. You can learn to build the trust, respect, and safety your dog needs by communicating with them and teaching them as their mother would, through the eyes, the projection of energy, sound and touch.

Ken has helped out with our three-year-old rescue. We’ve had her for eight months and spent the last six months training every day, trying to get her reactivity under control. We spent $$$ with 3 trainers prior to seeing Ken and we were considering rehoming our dog. In less than 2 hours we learned our dog is not aggressive, not even dominant just confident. We learned how to correct her and how to give her the security and leadership she was seeking. We have heard the leadership concept from the very first trainer, but we were not given the tools to communicate with our dog. Perhaps all the prior training, research and failures paved a road to this success in some way. All I know for sure, while Ken said we were ‘an easy case’, he changed our lives. He made our family whole and gave us future we didn’t think we had. If you are reading this trying to decide if Ken could help you, don’t wait, call him.

We have had Ken over to the house twice over the years for separate issues. He’s so calm and gentle with the dogs and we love his non-aggressive approach to training. It’s not about changing the dog it’s about understanding how a dog’s brain works so you can communicate with them and put them at ease. It’s really about re-training the owner. Our dogs have responded immediately to his training. He’s worth every penny. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Ken to anyone with any dog issues big or small, especially anyone considering giving up a dog due to issues. Just a few hours with Ken and he’ll show you just how simple it is to tackle your dog issues; you just have to be consistent and dedicated. . . I really think he should write a book. I would buy it!

I’d also like to add that Ken worked with another dog who lives in an apartment underneath us. This dog has behavioural issues so sever, that she couldn’t be around anyone, dogs or people, without having an extreme reaction. After going to live with Ken for a week, the non-stop barking has ceased and she’s way calmer. Before Ken she couldn’t be around anyone at all.

And as I incubate more on this, I’ve parsed what is fundamentally different about Ken to other dog “trainers.” Ken truly demonstrates that it’s an honour to be amongst dogs and learn from them vs. dominate and rule them.

Ken came to our house as I was worried about my 5 year old Rottweiler Stella being aggressive when walking her and especially when people walked by our corner lot everyday with their dogs she would go nuts! After he showed us how to speak to our dog through his techniques she has been amazing and already has been so much easier to walk without her dragging us and less aggressive seeming to others. And I don't need all these other crazy collars I've purchase hoping to help. I finally know alot more how to deal with Stella after just half an hour with Ken. Highly recommend for any dog owner with any type dog with any type personalities to seek Ken's knowledge and teachings for a happier, less stressful furr baby and furr parent relationship. Thank you sooooo much Ken!!

Consultation
I do in-home consultations, where I teach you how to properly communicate with your dog using its language. I also teach you how to properly teach and correct your dog the way its mother did, the way it instinctively understands. We will work with your dog both inside and outside of your home, including on leash. I also bring members of my pack so we have other dogs to work with and can bring specific dogs for your situation.

How you can help
Ken has saved the lives of over 2,000 misunderstood dogs over the last 6 years.
The bad news is that many people are left with no choice but to euthanize their misunderstood reactive or "aggressive" dog. In addition, these people are destroyed by the loss of their dog and suffer immense guilt.
The good news? You can help save these dogs lives! We're committed to saving misunderstood dogs so that all puppies have a chance at life, peace, happiness and love.
The great news is that there are so many different ways you can help. Volunteer with us, Donate to the future Vancouver Island Dog Psychology Center, or Adopt a dog!
Get Started
Even when your dog has bitten you, someone else, or another dog, they are your dog and you know you have to protect them. It makes it very hard when the ‘dog experts’ and people around you are telling you to destroy them. You don’t need to continue to live with the stress, anxiety, and negative energy this is causing you. Contact us today for a consultation and we’ll help you restore peace in your home.
