Bronx’s Story

Bronx’s Story

by | Nov 5, 2021 | News | 0 comments

The honorable Judge Lowe removed the publication ban on all the assessment videos of Bronx. These videos are presented unedited and in chronological order.

After almost 10 minutes the dog trainer assessed Bronx to be fearful, that his behaviours were the result of ‘fear aggression’ and that he more than likely could not be rehabilitated.

I conducted two separate assessments of Bronx due to the barking dogs and crowing rooster during the first assessment. My first assessment starts at time 9:44. You can skip to time 44:23 to go directly to my second assessment of Bronx where there are no barking dogs or roosters. My assessment was that Bronx is a high level Beta Dominant dog whose behaviour was territorial and he could be rehabilitated.

The trial Judge, the Honourable Judge Brooks agreed.

I hope those researching the efficacy of the use of decoys in assessing dangerous dogs and as a training tool can use these videos and also the Macey assessment videos from the court case in Nanaimo in 2019 to add to the existing scientific evidence that proves such methods are ineffective at understanding the psychological basis of a dog’s behaviour and intentionally alter a dogs behaviour.

Cheers ✌️

How you can help

Ken has saved the lives of over 2,000 misunderstood dogs over the last 6 years.

The bad news is that many people are left with no choice but to euthanize their misunderstood reactive or "aggressive" dog. In addition, these people are destroyed by the loss of their dog and suffer immense guilt.

The good news? You can help save these dogs lives! We're committed to saving misunderstood dogs so that all puppies have a chance at life, peace, happiness and love.

The great news is that there are so many different ways you can help. Volunteer with us, Donate to the future Vancouver Island Dog Psychology Center, or Adopt a dog!
